Fall issue out now!
Founded in 2020, Borderless is a biannual magazine published by Duke International Relations Association. We provide a space for students to connect and engage with international relations, which is an area often perceived as foreign and removed. Contributions have ranged from essays and personal narratives on current events to art and photography inspired by different cultures around the world. Borderless aims to humanize international relations.
The Fall 2024 issue theme is Collateral: As a board, we decided to promote the theme of collateral with this issue to explore how unexpected or overlooked outcomes of historic and contemporary events continue to shape global issues. We hope to shed light on the factors that influence whether an outcome is a primary or secondary focus for media attention and policy reform, among other responses.
